Kim May, Senior Litigation Manager

Kim joined CASL in 2021 and has extensive experience in the litigation funding industry, having managed a broad range of commercial, insolvency and class action matters since 2009.

 Kim holds a BA/LLB from the University of NSW and is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. Following admission and prior to joining CASL, Kim worked as a lawyer in private practice, with experience on both the plaintiff and defendant side.

Kim is proud to have managed the Stolen Wages QLD class action (Hans Pearson v State of QLD), which concluded with a settlement in 2019, and was acknowledged as the largest human rights settlement in Australian legal history at the time.
