Stuart Price, Chief Executive Officer

Prior to 2014, Stuart had a financial services, governance and risk, and investment background in the United Kingdom, Australia and the Middle East where he held senior executive roles.

During this time, Stuart was the Chief Financial Officer of Elders Rural Bank which was granted the first banking license issued by APRA in 2000, Chief Operating Officer of a Top 100 ASX listed investment business, CEO and founder of an investment banking business established in the DIFC in the UAE, and CEO of an Australian law firm.

In 2014, Stuart was appointed CEO and Managing Director of Australian & New Zealand litigation funder, Litigation Lending Services Ltd. Stuart was instrumental in the origination, funding and resolution of the Stolen Wages (QLD) claim which represented over 12,000 First Nations Peoples and settled for $190m in July 2019.

This claim was, at the time, Australia’s largest human rights class action, the 5th largest class action settled in Australia and represents an important social justice case in the history of the country.

Stuart and John Walker were the drivers behind establishing the Association of Litigation Funders of Australia in 2018, and Stuart was its inaugural CEO and Managing Director.
